A multidisciplinary designer search

The Conglomerate
is coming.

A premium Black cultural design and experience brand, built through intentional cultural drops.

We’re looking for the designer or small team who can make the digital and physical feel like one world.

Existing work. Clear thinking. No unpaid custom concepts.

Made from inside
the culture.

The Conglomerate turns cultural knowledge, design intelligence, and intentional storytelling into products and experiences worth keeping.

Apparel is the first expression. The wider ambition spans packaging, digital experiences, objects, and cultural moments. Each should have its own purpose and still belong to the same house.

Culture compounds.

04 / Before you apply

A few useful
answers.

Do I need both digital and apparel experience?

Yes. Your portfolio may demonstrate both capabilities through a single link. Separate project links are optional. A studio or team may cover these capabilities collectively.

Is this paid work?

Yes. Compensation and scope will be defined before commissioned work begins. We ask for your normal rates or project range in the application.

Do I need to create something for the application?

No. Round one evaluates existing work and your thinking. Do not create a custom logo, collection, mockup, or campaign. Any requested finalist exercise will be bounded and paid.

Can I send my portfolio by email or LinkedIn?

All applications must go through the official form. Emails, DMs, texts, calls, and connection requests intended to bypass the process may disqualify an application.

When will I hear back?

Finalists will be contacted by October 6, 2026, 10:13 AM EDT. Finalists will be contacted within seven days after applications close. If you have not heard from us by that date, you were not selected for the next round.

What will the selected designer deliver?

The expected foundation includes identity, typography, color, usable brand guidelines, responsive UI direction, apparel applications, campaign behavior, packaging, and organized source files and rights records. The final package will be negotiated.
